About the band

we are Valley kids was started by Ruby and Wes, two singers and songwriters united in love and an overpowering sense of hope that life is good and music makes it better. Their upcoming self-titled debut album "we are Valley kids" is a collection of banged-up ballads and blues music that draw from influences in both Folk and Soul traditions. Born storytellers and performers, we are Valley kids blend dynamic live-instrument performances with moving harmonies and powerful vocals that bare such a vulnerable realness and tenderness you can't help but hum along.
